Getting your meeting transcripts
Myc coaches you from a transcript of your meeting — the text of who said what. Most meeting tools can produce one. Here’s how to get a transcript from the tools people use most, then bring it into Myc. Prefer to skip the export step entirely? Connect your account and Myc imports transcripts for you automatically.
If you use Zoom or Google Meet, you can connect your account once and Myc imports your transcripts automatically — no exporting or uploading per meeting.
Exporting a transcript, by tool
Zoom
Turn on cloud recording with “Audio transcript” enabled in your Zoom settings. After a recorded meeting, open it in Zoom (Recordings → the meeting) and download the transcript file. Myc can also import Zoom transcripts automatically — see the Zoom guide.
Google Meet
On a Google Workspace plan that supports it, turn on “Transcripts” during the meeting (or in your host settings). The transcript is saved to the host’s Google Drive after the meeting; open it and download or copy the text. Myc can also import Meet transcripts automatically once you connect Google Meet.
Microsoft Teams
Turn on transcription during the meeting (More → Record and transcribe → Start transcription). Afterward, open the meeting from your calendar or chat, open the recap/transcript, and download it.
Otter, Fireflies, and other note-takers
Open the meeting note and use the tool’s export or download option to save the transcript as text. Any transcript that keeps speaker labels works.
Bringing a transcript into Myc
In Myc, go to Analyze a meeting and upload your transcript file, then tell Myc which voice is yours and what kind of meeting it was. Myc redacts personal information before any AI analysis, then returns your coaching. A transcript that shows who said what (speaker labels) works best — that’s what the coaching is built on.
Standard transcript formats work: .txt, .vtt, .srt, .docx, and .pdf.
