The next time you’re in a tense conversation, try asking yourself:
💭 Am I reacting? Or am I responding?

The difference is night and day.
⚡ A reaction is automatic. It’s emotional. It happens to you.

It’s what happens when your amygdala takes the wheel.
You snap, shut down, or say something you'll regret.
🧘 A response is intentional. Thoughtful. Grounded.

It happens when you pause, breathe, and choose how you want to show up.
It comes from conscious intention, not impulse.

Here’s the trick:
If you feel like your emotions are in control rather than your values, you’re probably in reactive mode.

That’s not bad or wrong. It’s just human.
But it’s also something you can shift.

Pause.
Take a breath.
Shift back into your prefrontal cortex.

Then respond with clarity, not reactivity.
💬 What helps you move from reaction to response?
